High Country
Tours snowmobile trips accommodate individuals of all ages and experience levels. Our machines
are for single or double riders and have a 350 lb. weight limit. They have
hand and feet warmers as well as back rests and compartments to carry items.
Our fleet of machines consists mainly of Polaris 550cc snowmobiles. We also
have higher performance sleds available. We take pride in offering tours with
small groups, providing all of our guests with a more personal tour. All tours
get some free time in the meadows where you can play on the machines. We offer
miles and miles of back country powder riding and a groomed trail system.

We are centrally located to all the ski areas including Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin. We offer free transportation. We meet at our office in Dillon or we
can pick you up at your local lodging. You can also drive directly to our location.
Our
tour guides
All of our tours are guided by our professional staff. We pride ourselves on having
experienced guides each of whom is CPR/first aid certified. Your safety is their
primary concern. All guides are fully trained in guest relations and equipment
expertise. All guides are equipped with two way radios and are in contact with the
base camp. In addition they are personable, friendly, knowledgeable about the area
and love the sport of snowmobiling.
What about tipping your guide?
Our guides make a base wage similar to a bartender or wait person. General guidelines
for tipping would be the same as for a bartender or a wait person (15-20%). Please do
not feel obligated to tip, but if you do believe in tipping, it is a nice way to express
your appreciation, and only if you feel you had a fun, safe and informative experience.
Feedback and letters from our guests is greatly appreciated and helps us maintain a high
standard of service.
